In order to foster the development of our students’ knowledge, abilities and personalities, we encourage teacher to open the high-quality general educational selective courses. The selective courses should be applied through internet. The related matters are as followings:
I. Classification of the courses: the selective courses are classified into general educational selective courses and professional selective courses.
II. Application of the courses
ⅰ. The requirements of application:
1. The teacher should have the academic title above instructor, and have two years experiment of teaching;
2. The teacher should have a deep research on the course and have some academic achievement about the course, or have compiled the related teaching book or materials, or have published the related monograph;

About the new selective courses: the teacher should print the application form after online application, and send the form to the dean of the school after the permission of the dean in charge of teaching;
2. If a selective course has stopped for more than one year, then it is regarded as a new one. We encourage a course to open continually and limit the number of the selective courses. A teacher is limited to open no more than two selective courses.
Ⅲ. The requirement of the credit
The total class hours of general educational selective courses are 16 or 32, that is 1 or 2 credits. The total class hours of professional selective courses are 32 or 48, that is 2 or 3 credits.
Ⅳ. The time of application
Online application of all selective courses end before April 4, please transmit the information each other.
