He Huawu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chief Engineer of China Railway Corporation, PhD Supervisor
    He Huawu, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chief Engineer of China Railway Corporation, PhD Supervisor Serving as the director of technical committee of the Ministry of Railways, he has been the general designer of China high-speed railway and obtained the special government allowance. Consistently and persistently, he dedicated himself to technical engineering of railway projects, presiding over survey designing, consulting evaluation and technical decision-making of a hundred of projects on railway hubs and trunk lines. Engaged as the general technical manager, He Huawu directed the 6th Nationwide Railway Speed-up Project and organized the essential technological breakthrough and overall integrated system optimization of China passenger dedicated lines in chief.

 

Peng Qiyuan, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor Professor
   Peng is the dean of School of Transportation and Logistics of SWJTU. He holds the position as the director of national-local association laboratory of comprehensive transportation intelligentization. He was awarded the national distinguished teacher and the distinguished teacher of the national high level talents special support plan.  He is one of the Sichuan Provincial Academic  leaders. As the director of national experiment teaching exemplary center of transportation and the leader of national characteristic major of transportation. Professor Peng set up a national teaching team of the course "Train operation organization". He is now the course leader of the national open video course "Introduction to Transportation " the national quality shared-resource course "Train operation organization" and Sichuan provincial quality course "Transport organization", the chief editor of "Journal of Transportation Engineering", and the editor of "Journal of Modern Transportation" and "Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University (Natural Science)". He is now the members of many famous  associations  too.Professor Peng has been working on organization optimization of passenger and cargo transportation, organization of high-speed railway transportation, intelligent transportation and logistics engineering. Prof. Peng presided over more than 60 projects and published more than 160 papers, among which 70 are indexed by SCI, EI and ISTP. He edited 3 national planning textbooks, and published 7 monographs and textbooks. He was awarded more than 10 prizes, such as the first prize of the scientific and technological progress of the Ministry of Railways, the second prize of  teaching achievements, and the second prize of national teaching achievements, Science and technology prize of railway association of China, Mao Yisheng railway awards for science and technology, Zhan Tianyou railway awards for science and technology, and "10 Extinguished Youngs" of Sichuan Province etc..

 

Luo Xia, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
  Prof. Luo is the vice dean of School of Transport and Logistics. Prof. Luo is the member of the 12th NPC, the member of the 10th and 11th national  committee of CPPCC,  vice chairman of Chengdu Committee of CPPCC, chairman of Chengdu Committee of China Zhi Gong Party and counselor of China Highway Academic Board. She is the national teaching master, the academic and technical leader of Sichuan Province, the principal of National Great Course for Traffic Control and Management, the chairperson of Traffic Engineering of national characteristics and the teaching team of Traffic Engineering at the national level. Prof. Luo was the consultancy expert for World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Prof. Luo has presided over 30 research projects, including the National Natural Science Fund, State 863 projects, projects funded by the 10th and 11th Five Years Key Programs for Science and Technology Development of China, and various other enterprise-funded projects. Prof. Luo was awarded with the first and second prizes of Advancement in Technology Awards in Sichuan Province. Prof. Luo has published 2 academic monographs, 2 textbooks, and over 100 research papers. Prof. Luo has served as a consultancy expert for over 100 projects in the fields of freeway, urban transport, and integrated transport. Prof. Luo is the editorial member of the Journal of Highway and Transportation Research and Development and the Journal of Chongqing Jiaotong University. Prof. Luo has also served as the  executive chairman, committee chairmanship and member of academic committees of relating international conferences.

 

Zhang Jin, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor
       Professor Zhang is the executive vice dean of School of Transportation and Logistics, director of Logistics Research Institute and academic leader of the discipline of logistics engineering. He also is a member of Logistics Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education of China, chairman of China Logistics Association, editorial board of the Academic Journal (the edition of natural science) of Southwest Jiaotong University, member of Decision and Consulting Committee of Sichuan Province Government,  the Expert  of Chengdu Science and Technology Advisory Group. He mainly focus on the research fields of Logistics System Optimization and Planning Design, Logistics Organization Optimization, Traffic System Optimization and Planning. In recent years, he has published more than 70 papers, including more than 40 papers indexed by EI, ISTP, CSSCI and CSCD, furthermore, he also edited and published National Eleventh Five-Year Planning Textbook and Planning Theory and Method. He has supported more than 60 projects. His many consultation reports and advices are published by Sichuan daily and Chengdu daily. He has supervised about 20 graduate students and oversea students. In additional, he still presided the Logistics International Academic Conference as the chairman in 2008 - 2012, and Roundtable of the International Conference on Greater China Supply Chain and Logistics in 2010. He has been promoted academic exchanges and program cooperation with lots of oversea universities and research institutions. Parts of his research achievements have won prize of Progress.
Jiang Gefu, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
       Prof. Jiang is the Standing Committee of Southwest Jiaotong University Party Committee and the executive vice president.  In the meanwhile,  he is also the standing director of Chinese Higher Education Association,  a member of laboratory construction Steering Committee of Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the experts group leader of the assessment of personnel training of Sichuan High Vocational-technical College. Professor Jiang mainly focus on the teaching and research fields of engineering mathematics and computing mathematics, optimization theory and application, intelligent traffic, comprehensive transportation planning, safety engineering and higher education management. Professor Jiang has published nearly 30 papers and 1 monograph (coauthored with others). He hosted more than 10 national and provincial research projects and other major projects, trained more than 40 doctors and masters. He has been awarded national and provincial teaching achievements and the second of the second and third session of excellent teaching achievement prize, and he has been honored as a special government allowances experts in 2001.
Pu Yun, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
       Professor Pu is the vice-president of Southwest Jiaotong University. He is one of outstanding contribution experts of Sichuan province, a member of Discipline Evaluation Team of State Council, a director of the National Degree and Postgraduate Education Association,  the vice-chairman of the Degree and Postgraduate Education Association of Sichuan province, a director of the System Engineering Society of Sichuan province. He successively presided over more than 50 projects including the national natural science Funds, the ministry of education Funds, the Ministry of Railways Funds, Sichuan province Funds and other lateral research projects project. He published more than 100 papers in the international meeting and domestic high level periodicals and published a monograph named “The Satisfaction Optimizing Theories and Methods of ITS Command System”. He has been honored as the outstanding contribution experts of Sichuan province because of his outstanding contributions,  as well  as the academic leaders backup of Sichuan province, the  technological top-notch youth of the ministry of railways, the first prize of scientific and technological progress in Chongqing province and  the association of transportation, the second prize of the outstanding teaching results in Sichuan province, aid program for University Key Teacher by the Ministry of Education of China and so on.

 

Yan Qipeng, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
       Prof. Yan serves as a member of Southwest Jiaotong University party committee ,the  assistant principal , the director of division of strategic and sustainable development, as well as the standing director of science and technological youth association of Sichuan province, a member of youth association of  Sichuan province.  He has been engaged in traffic engineering, transportation planning and management, urban rail transportation and other aspects. During December,  1997 and December,  1998, he was a visiting scholar of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, West Virginia University and during February, 2003 and April, he visited West Virginia University. He has guided dozens of doctors and masters and been selected as the outstanding doctoral supervisor and postgraduate supervisor, respectively. He has hosted 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects of Sichuan province, 18 complete and ongoing application projects and main researcher of more than  10 projects. He also published more than  90 papers in all kinds of academic journals and conference, compiled 2 text books and took part in 2 text books.
Zhang Dianye, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Zhang Dianye, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD SupervisorHe is the Chairman of Transportation Safety Professional Committee of China Communication and Transportation Association, Chairman of Safety Engineering Education Professional Committee of China Occupational, and Safety and Health Association, and vice president of Chinese Ergonomics Society etc. He is also the Academic leader of Sichuan Province, worked for Security Ministry and Construction Ministry. Prof. Zhang achieved the PhD degree in Southwest Jiaotong University, worked in the postdoctoral station of Beijing Jiaotong University, and visited University of Southampton as an advanced visiting scholar. Prof. Zhang’s research mainly focus on intelligent transportation theory and technology, traffic safety theory and technology, urban railway transit, transportation planning theory and method. Since 1999, Prof. Zhang has leaded 4 National Nature Foundation, 16 provincial research projects and published 10 textbooks and over 60 papers.
LI Zongping, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor

      Prof. Li is the associate dean of School of Transportation and Logistics, a member of steering committee for undergraduate education of China Railway Information and Technology byMinistry of Education, the committee member of Traffic Safety Steering committee of China Transport institute, and the associate editor-in-chief of journal of Transport engineering and technology. Dr. Li has a strong background of mathematics and main research interests consist of transport management, transport planning, transport system planning and optimization, logistics system planning and optimization, and optimization theory. Dr. Li has presided over 16 research projects at the province level and published 30 research papers and 5 research books. Dr. Li taught a National Great Course titled "Cargo Transport and Organization" and another 2 Great Courses at the national and province levels. Dr. Li has received 1 second prize of teaching award at the national level and 2 first prizes of teaching awards at the province level.

Shuai Bin, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Prof. Shuai is the associate dean of School of Transportation and Logistics, a member of steering committee for undergraduate education of China Railway Information and Technology by Ministry of Education, an expert of Sichuan after-disaster recovery expert  teams,  an expert  of Sichuan Safety Expert Team,  an expert  of Sichuan medium-to-small  enterprises  technology consultancy team,  an expert  of  Shenzhen modern logistics  expert committee,  an expert  of Luzhou Technology consultancy team,  and an advanced member of China Railway Academic Committee. Dr. Shuai’s research interests include traffic planning and management, logistics planning and management,  transport  economy,  and logistic and technology economics.  Dr.  Shuai  has presided over 60 enterprise-funded projects at the province and city levels and 8 projects at the national level, among which 4 projects were granted with Advancement in Science and Technology Awards. Dr. Shuai has published over 50 research papers, among which 20 of them were indexed by EI, ISTP, or CSSCI. And 4 by people’s university newspaper, and 1 research book and 4 textbooks (one is 11th five year planned book and one is a planned book by Ministry of Railways). Dr. Shuai has been awarded with Huoyingdong outstanding youth teacher award and the outstanding researcher award at Southwest Jiaotong University.

 

Yan Yusong, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Science and Technology Leader Candidate of Sichuan Province. Research fields: transportation planning and system optimization, comprehensive transportation planning and resource allocation; logistics system planning and system optimization;  traffic and logistics information network,  intelligent  railway system,  logistics information technology and application. Social Position: Vice-chairman of China’s transportation and logistics research board, vice director of Sichuan Province refrigeration institute, editorial board of the Academic Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University and Sichuan Normal University, convener of the road traffic accident prevention expert group of Sichuan province, member Sichuan international engineering consulting expert group, engineering consulting and evaluation expert  group,  Chengdu bureau of  traffic transportation committee,  intelligent  transportation and evaluation expert group, and Sichuan government logistics department. He hosts and participates in more than 50 scientific research subjects. He has published more than 80 papers in both domestic and international academic journals and academic conference. He also authored or published some textbooks and treatises.

 

Ni Shaoquan, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Prof. Ni is the executive deputy director of Train Operation Diagram research and development center of SWJTU and the director of Transport information and technology research center. Prof. Ni’s main research fields consist  of rail  transport  diagram optimization and the transport  and logistics information and focuses on the development of national train diagrams. Prof. Ni has developed a number of application software for the train operation diagram that has good application effect in practice. Ni has presided over 40 projects at the national, provincial and city levels and was awarded with 1 first and 4 third prizes of Advancement in Technology Awards in Sichuan Province and 1 second prize of China Railway Science and Technology Awards. Prof. Ni was granted with Youth Award of Zhan Tianyou Railway Science and Technology award in 2003 and Mao Yisheng Railway Science and Technology award in 2006. 
Mu Ruifang, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Prof. Mu is the principal of Transport Safety Engineering at the College of Transport and Logistics, a committee member of China disaster prevention and risk analysis committee, a committee member of Sichuan Safety expert committee, and the counselor of Sichuan Disaster prevention institute, editorial board members of some periodicals and reviewer. Prof. Mu’s research interests include the rail traffic safety risk theory and the mechanics of traffic disaster and risk management, and traffic environmental engineering. He has presided over 3 projects funded by the National Science Foundation, 10 projects at the province level and 30 enterprise-funded projects. Prof. Mu has published 4 textbooks and over 70 research papers in the core journals, among which over 10 papers were indexed by SCI and over 20 papers were indexed by EI database. Prof. Mu was granted 1 first and 2 second prizes of Advancement in Science and Technology Awards by Ministry of Railways, 1 first prize of Advancement in  Technology Awards in  Gansu Province and 1 first prize of China railway Construction
Company.

 

Liu Lan,  Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Prof. Liu’s research interest include transport automation and traffic control, intelligent transport system, transportation plan and integrated passenger transport hub. He published over 70 papers (21 indexed by EI), 1 textbook of the 11th Five-Year National Programmed Textbooks, 1 monograph, and 2 professional textbooks, and one of the textbooks has been introduced in Vietnam. He is holding the Integrated Urban Transport Planning Specialist  post  of the PATA  projects of Asian Development Bank, also acted as the team leader.  He was responsible for 1 special item of the National " 863 project ", 5 projects at the national level, and more than 20 projects at the province or ministry level, among which 3 software packages were developed and one of them possess creative results. He received two  items of Science and Technology Award (second prize) at the provincial level.
Lv Hongxia,  Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD  Supervisor
Prof.  Lv is the chief engineer of Train Diagram research and development  center at  Southwest  Jiaotong University. Prof. Lv’s research interest includes rail transport diagram optimization and the transport and logistics information and focus on the research on the computer train diagram. Dr. Lv has participated in the development of national train operation diagram system, which has become the cornerstone of China train operation diagram and management. Dr. Lv has developed a number of application software related to a large-scale passenger train line operation decision-making system, railway passenger transport resource management system, railstation train arrival and department information  system. Dr.  Lv has presided over 1 project funded by National Science Foundation, 1 major projects of railway ministry science and technology research and development program, 2 items of railway ministry science and technology development fund project, and 30 projects at the national, province, and city levels, has published more than 20 papers in the domestic and international public journals. Dr. Lv was granted with 3 third prizes of Advancement in Science and Technology Awards at the province level and 1 second prize by China railway science and technology academic committee.
Xiao Feng, PhD, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Dr.  Xiao is  currently a professor in  the  School of Transportation  and Logistics, Southwest Jiaotong University. He received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Tsinghua University and his PhD degree from Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. He used to be a postdoctoral researcher in the University of California, Davis, and a Transport Planner in the Maunsell Consultants Asia Ltd, Hong Kong. During his stay in the United States, his research was supported by funds from the Sustainable Transportation Center of UCDavis, the Institute of Transportation Studies and California Department of Transportation. Now he is in the Sichuan Province Hundred Talents Program, and leading multiple funds from the National Science Foundation of China, Ministry of Education of China, etc. His research interests include congestion pricing, network modeling and optimization, transportation economics and policy, multi-modal transportation system development, ITS, etc. The courses he taught include Urban Traffic Control and Management, Transportation Engineering, Mechanics of Materials, AutoCAD, etc. Currently, he has published up to 12 SCI/EI Indexed papers on the top journals in the
transportation and management science area, e.g. Transportation Science, Transportation Research Part A, B, C, Networks and Spatial Economics, Transportmetrica, etc.

 

Jiang Yangsheng, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Prof. Jiang, serves as the director of traffic engineering department of transportation and logistics college. He is mainly engaged in research on optimization and planning design of traffic systems, intelligent public traffic system and intelligent traffic control. In recent years, he has published a textbook and more than 60 articles among which over 40 were indexed by SCI, EI, ISTP, CSSCI or CSCD. He has been in charge of more than 20 research projects including the project of China National Natural Science Foundation, Science and technology project of Ministry of Education, Science and technology project of Sichuan Province as well as all levels of the government and enterprise. So far, he has guided 40 doctoral, graduate students and foreign students. He also has academic exchanges and cooperation projects with many foreign universities and research institutions.
Jiang, Xinguo, PhD, Professor, PhD  Supervisor
 
Dr. Jiang was awarded with the honorable title of Sichuan “100 plan” in the year of 2012. Dr. Jiang graduated from Michigan State University with a doctoral degree; Dr. Jiang used to work for an international traffic consulting firm and the City of Fort Myers in Florida. Currently, Dr. Jiang is the team leader of transportation group of Chengdu United-Front think-tank, the team member of Sichuan Logistics Expert, and the peer reviewer of China National Natural Science Funds. Dr. Jiang owns two professional licenses: Professional Engineer (PE) and Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE). Dr. Jiang is mainly engaged in the research fields such as traffic safety, low-carbon transportation, Intelligent Transportation System, and comprehensive transportation planning and design. Dr. Jiang has published approximately 25 research papers, among which 8 papers are indexed by SCI or SSCI as the first author or corresponding author in the top traffic safety journals; Dr. Jiang is also in charge of translating an English book. Dr. Jiang preside over a number of high-profile research projects, which are funded by China National Natural Science Funds, World Bank, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Education, etc. In terms of the academic affiliations, Dr. Jiang is the committee board member of Journal of Transportation Technologies, and a peer reviewer of various international journals, e.g., Accident Analysis and Prevention(SCI), Traffic Injury Prevention (SCI)), Journal of Injury Control and Safety Promotion (SCI), Journal of Discrete Dynamics in Nature and Society (SCI), Journal of Applied Mathematics (SCI), Journal of Tongji University, Journal of Tsinghua University, Journal of Jiangsu University, and Journal  of Southwest  Jiaotong University.  Dr.  Jiang has tutored more than 10 doctoral  and master students at Southwest  Jiaotong University.  Dr.  Jiang’s research paper has won the first  prize of the international  Philip E. Rollhaus traffic essay competition and the second prize of student paper competition in Michigan.

 

Fu liping, Doctor of Engineering, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Dr. Liping Fu is a Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Director of the Innovative Transportation System Solutions (ITSS) Lab at the University of Waterloo.  Dr. Fu’s research interest specifically focuses on evaluation and optimization of large, complex traffic and transportation service systems where uncertainty and dynamics play a major role, and on the development of decision support tools for use in managing these systems. Dr. Fu has a long track record of research contributions to the areas of intelligent transportation systems, public transit, road safety, traffic impact on air quality, and winter road maintenance. Dr. Fu holds several international patents and software copyrights for vehicle routing and scheduling, highway-railway grade crossings safety analysis, and winter road surface condition monitoring.  He has provided technical services to many transportation agencies, including Transport Canada, Ministry of Transportation Ontario, and several municipalities in Canada.  Dr. Fu has served on numerous technical committees of various professional organizations, including Transportation Research Board’s Committee, Editorial Advisory Board of the journal of Transportation  Research, Intelligent  Transportation  Systems Society of Canada, Canadian Urban Transit Association, and Institute of Transportation Engineers.  He was the past Chair of Transportation of Division of Canadian Society for Civil Engineering.  Dr. Fu received Transportation Association of Canada (TAC)’s 2011 Academic Merit Award sponsored by Transport Canada for his long-term contribution to the advancement of the academic field and to the development of tomorrow’s transportation leaders. 

 

Wang Chenping, PhD, Professor, PhD supervisor
Dr. WANG is professor of civil engineering, and Gilbert, Cooper, and W&W Steel Chair at the Oklahoma State University since August 2011.  He was a professor at the University of Arkansas for 18 years. He has B.S and M.S degrees from Southwest Jiaotong University and Beijing Jiaotong University, and PhD from Arizona State University in 1992. Dr. WANG is a leading developer of technologies for pavement survey on worldwide basis. Dr. WANG’s research work was reported by the Economist weekly magazine, CNN, ENR, and ASCE magazine. The technology based on Dr. Wang research in the past 20 years is used in the US and Canada, Europe, South Africa, the Mid-East, and China. The 2011 ASCE Award of Frank M. Masters Transportation Engineering was given to Kelvin C.P. WANG for his "innovative research on automated pavement survey and data analysis technologies".
Ma Guozhong, Professor
Prof. Ma is a committee member of transportation security committee of China’s transportation association and safety engineering education committee of China’s occupation safety and health association,  and serves as the director of transportation safety and information engineering department of the school of traffic and transportation during 2001 and 2010.He mainly researches on the transportation security administration and planning, security and reliability of transportation system,  man-computer engineering of traffic safety,  etc.  His research focuses on transportation security,  reliability of transportation system and man-computer engineering of traffic safety,  and teaches doctors, masters and undergraduates as a traffic safety expert. He was been honored by both the China and Nigeria Ministry of Railway owing to write two important  research reports for Nigeria Ministry of Railway and the
president of Nigeria during working as a expert of the Ministry of Railway in Nigeria for two years in 1998.

 

 Liu Xiaobo, PhD, Professor, PhD Supervisor
Dr. Liu is a project manager in a US fortune 500 companies, Jacobs Engineering group. He graduated from Southwest Jiaotong University with B.S. and M.S. degree, and obtained his Ph.D. degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology.  Dr. Liu’s research area is focused on transportation planning, ITS and transit system analysis. He has been involved  with or led some national transportation development  projects in USA and China, including world trade center redevelopment plan, Toronto Gardiner Expressway Redevelopment planning, Guiyang Regional transportation planning and zhuzhou public transportation system planning.  Dr.  Liu was awarded a George Krambles Transportation Scholarship in 2003, later as a major team member received an American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey 2006 "Award for Engineering Excellence".

 

Zhu Jianmei, Doctor of Engineering, Professor
Prof. Zhu serves as the deputy party secretary of Southwest Jiaotong University. She focuses on studying transportation planning, the transportation development strategy, logistics planning and so on. She has published more than 30 papers in “Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University”, “Railway Transport and Economy” and other academic journals and international conferences. She has presided over more than 10 longitudinal and horizontal researches, including the railway transportation development-related research, Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail operations simulation, research on Intercity rail transportation organization, modern logistics model and the overall technology research, etc. She was awarded with the title of "Pioneer of the New Long March", the second prize in teaching achievement, the third prize of science and technology progress and the third prize for science philosophy social science in Sichuan.

 

Xu Ling, Doctor of Engineering, Professor
Professor Xu Ling is the deputy dean of School of Transportation and Logistics, assistant director of Logistics Research Institute and vice chairman of China Logistics Technology Association and the member of Sichuan Province Security Manufacture Specialist  Committee.  Professor Xu mainly focus on the teaching and scientific research fields of logistics system design and optimization, logistics information technology and system integration, enterprise logistics and so on. She led 8 vertical projects from the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Education and Sichuan Province and supported the more than 20 cooperated projects between university and enterprises such as Sichuan Province Mobile Logistics System Planning,  Railway Transport Logistics System Solution Design of Information Center of Ministry of Construction, Logistics System Diagnosis and Optimization in Steel Enterprise of CISDI. Besides these, she also took part in more than 10 projects of national high-level technology research and development program for the eleven five years and School-Enterprise cooperation projects in Sichuan. She published more than 30 papers and won the second prize of science  and technology  progress of ministry of education, the  second prize of teaching achievement and compiled 3 textbooks including 1 national planned textbook. She was invited to Toyama University as a visiting researcher in 2008 and to be a visiting scholar in Inchon Skills University in 1997 and in Florida University in 1998 for three months.

 

Zhang Xueyan, Doctor of Management, Professor
Xueyan Zhang held a B.S. from Southwest Jiaotong University in 1982 and stayed to work, as well as a M.S. in 1989 and a Ph.D. in 2002. He had engaged in science and technology exchange in Singapore (1997  2004) before he returned to China to work in 2004. Then he serves as the department head of Logistical Management in Southwest Jiaotong University since 2006. Xueyan Zhang engaged in the research of information system and logistics. He has published more than 50 papers in above fields; edited or helped edit more than 6 academic treatises; guided dozens of visiting scholars, doctors or graduates; accomplished 5 provincial research projects or 863 fund projects as well as dozens of consulting services projects for large enterprises or logistics parks. He has been awarded  the third prize of provinces scientific and technological progress once and excellent cases of informatization from the CFLP twice. Thanks to his research achievements, the Southwest Jiaotong University was rated as the outstanding server of logistics informatization by CFLP. Xueyan Zhang now serves as the managing director on Chinese Application and Promotion Alliance of Internet of Things; the committee member of National Technical Committee of Information Management of Logistic for Standardization; the member of Chinese Information Systems Association; a judge on Natural Science Foundation; the expert in technology experts pool of Ministry of Education, Shanghai and Sichuan science and technology commission.
Huang Xingjian, Professor
Prof. Huang studied in railway transportation department of Southwest Jiaotong University since 1979 and got bachelor degree in 1983 and master degree in 1988, and then serves in Southwest Jiaotong University.He mainly engaged in railway passenger and cargo transport  organization,  logistics system planning and layout, logistics information system construction,  reinforcing scheme of huge goods loading,  dangerous and perishable goods transport organization.He published more than 20 papers and four academic books and was authorized to one utility model patent in the above fields. He completed more than 20 research projects which have been demonstrated much social and economic effect applied to practical producing. He is the director of refrigeration academy in Sichuan and has guided dozens of masters.

 

Feng chun ,  Doctor of Engineering, Professor
Feng  Chun  is  Professor  of  Logistics  engineering  and  management  at  Southwest  Jiaotong University(SWJTU), and a Visiting Professor at University of Southern California, and the Founding Director of Center of the Logistics Research Laboratory at SWJTU, and  Assistant Dean of the School of Transportation and Logistics at SWJTU, and the assistant director of Logistics Research Institute.Feng chun received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from SWJTU in 1992, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Optimal design theory and algorithms) from SWJTU in 1995 and 2004, respectively. He has more than 70 publications in the forms of journal papers, books, edited books, conference papers, and reports. His major interests are Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Logistics network and Supply network robust design and optimization,  Humanitarian logistics, Production and operation research, Complex network and Optimization. He is project leader of Nation Natural Science Foundation of China, and the National Social Science Foundation of China , and Ministry of Education of the PRC for the researches of humanities and social sciences. Feng chun is the Member of Chinese Association for Logistics Engineering, and the Member of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP), and the Senior Member of Chinese Sichuan Association for Mechanical Engineering, and the Senior Member of Chinese Chengdu Association for Mechanical. He serves on the review expert of Chengdu Bureau of Scientific and Technology , and peer reviewer of Chinese Journal of Computational Mechanical,  Journal of Southwest Jiaotong University, ACTA AUTOMATICA SINICA.
Qiu Xiaoping, Doctor of Engineering, Post-Doctor, Professor
Prof. Qiu mainly devotes himself to  Supply Chain information  management and integration,  Urban Transportation Planning and Management. He hosted 1 national project, 4 provincial projects and about 10 lateral cooperation projects. He is the researcher of 10 national projects and 3 provincial projects. He published about 80 published papers indexed by SCI, EI, ISTP, in which more than 30 papers were finished as the first author. Besides, he compiled 8 text books, held 2 invention patents, registered 1 software and held 1 provincial scientific and technological  achievements appraisal in 2009. He was the Southwest Jiaotong University Yisi  Star and selected as an academic and technological leaders backup in Sichuan in 2010.

 

 

Yang Fei, Doctor of Engineering, Associate Professor, PhD Supervisor

Professor Yang Fei  is the vice director of Transportation Engineering at  School  of Transportation and Logistics. Professor Yang received his Ph.D. from Tongji University and was a postdoctoral scholar at University of Wisconsin-Madison, United States of America. Professor Yang has been selected into Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University and Sichuan Province High-level Talent Pool. He is the expert advisor of National Natural  Science Funds,  and the editing member of Information-An International  Interdisciplinary Journal  and Modern Transportation, and also the peer reviewer of Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board,  Journal  of Shanghai  Jiaotong University (English Edition),  Journal  of Southeast  University (Natural Science Edition), Modern Transportation Technology, et al. He has gained international recognition in the transportation professional by his novel researches on traffic data collection method based on cell phone positioning technology. He has conducted two National Natural Science Funds, one Ministry of Education University Ph.D. Funds, one Key Laboratory of Road and Traffic Engineering of the Ministry of Education project, and more than 20 other practical projects and researches from both governments and enterprises. In recent years, Professor Yang has published about 30 papers, among which more than ten are indexed by SCI, EI, and one monograph. He also owned two patents and one copyright of computer software.
